Captain Iowae was born

space. However, soon after, the region was declared unfit
for the upbringing of children, and, at only a few months
old, she was placed on a transport, alongside many other Starfleet
babies, and taken to Jupiter Station. Captain Iowae flew threw
her schooling years, but remained at Jupiter Station until
the age of seventeen, when she was allowed to begin her career
at Starfleet Academy. She graduated from Starfleet Academy
with honors, tied for the number one rank in her class with
her first officer and best friend, Commander Dorflick. Jennifer
is constantly hiding from her familial background. |

Background Information |
|
Commander Dorflick was born on the same starship
as Captain Iowae, and also grew up on Jupiter Station. However,
her parents decided when she was a week old that it was too
dangerous for her to remain on board and left the ship. Commander
Dorflick is a part of a group of highly rebellious Vulcans,
as are her parents. She has not been to Vulcan for most of her
life, and does not want to go. Her parents have turned her against
the ideals and morals of the Vulcan species, and although she
has learned to respect them, she does not in any way feel attached
to them or to the Vulcan species. |

Felicia Dawn Ara |
Background Information |
|
Felicia Ara was born on Earth and raised
by the Klingon after the mysterious disappearance of her parents
seventeen years ago. When old enough, Felicia attended Starfleet
Academy and graduated as the top student of the school. Her
quest for honor and perseverance (both values held high in the
Klingon world) led her to many distant planets, where she studied
and achieved honor for both her Klingon and Human families.
Lieutenant Commander Ara is known mainly for her excellent piloting
skills and her use of logic in the face of chaos, especially
in battle. A superior all-around soldier, she is said to be
the prized gem in the military's crown. Recently, she was invited
to take a job as ambassador of the Klingons. However, she declined
the offer and instead joined Captain Jennifer Iowae aboard the
U.S.S. Avant-Garde, where she is currently positioned. Felicia
is still searching for her Human parents and brother, whose
whereabouts remain unconfirmed. |

De'l D'elsu'ke |
Background Information |
|
He was born on a Klingon-inhabited planet, but
left it at the age of three (or, in Earth years, seventeen)
to find Vulcan. His species did not believe that it was possible
to exist without emotion, and so did not believe in the Vulcans.
In finding the Vulcans, he became an instant celebrity on his
planet, but never returned to it, or realized this. He graduated
from Starfleet Academy third in his class, then studied on Venus
for one year. After completing this, he lived on Neyuri Prime
for a little over three years, when the entire planet was assimilated
by the Borg. Inspired by Seven of Nine's amazing regain of humanity
so many years before, he escaped the collective four years after
he was assimilated, and rejoined Starfleet. Due to a glitch
in assimilation, the collective was never completely in control
of his mind, and when he escaped, he used the highly advanced
Borg technology to Starfleet's advantage. The technology is
still integrated into his systems, and though he looks like
a Borg, he is not...with the exception, of course, of his quest
for perfection. |

Born on Romulus, Ferdia was raised amongst Ferengi,

when she was nineteen. Her grades were not wonderful, but her
general performance was exemplary. Final through with her struggle
at the Academy, she joined the crew of the Avant-Garde, under
the lead of Captain Iowae, who felt like if she was given a
chance, she would excel in her field: communications. |
